Multi-Media Direct Culture Method with DNA Fluorochrome Staining Assay (M-250)

This test is a highly-sensitive, reliable method for detecting mycoplasma contamination in cell cultures.

This test consists of multi-media direct (broth/agar) culture method combined with an Indicator cell culture assay. The test article is inoculated into three (3) proprietary mycoplasma media formulations and resultant cultures are incubated under aerobic and microaerophilic conditions.

Minimum Test Volume = 5 mL

The indicator cell culture assay with DNA fluorochrome assay enhances the detection of fastidious and non-cultivable Mycoplasma species.
